TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

February 7th thru February 12th

Tuesday, Feb. 7, 6pm Grand Kick-Off Party (location TBA). Live Auction, 8 p.m. Come get a T-shirt, sign up for events, make friends, and benefit the kids. Live music.

Wednesday, Feb. 8 Morning – Pursuit Race . A fun race in and out of the Bay. Crew spots available. Benefit Concert & CD Release Party at El Pueblito Restaurant, 6:30-11:00 p.m. Our outstanding local and international musicians donate their talent to build classrooms. Come early for traditional Mexican dinner and best seating. An annual sell-out!

Thursday, Feb. 9 Chili Cook Off and Street Fair on Cuauhtémoc Street (the pedestrian only street that ends at the zocala). Come judge the chili, and buy local crafts. Silent Auction 3 to 6 pm. Live music follows.

Friday, Feb. 10 .Sail Parade around Zihuatanejo Bay, then to Ixtapa and back. The fleet “dresses ship” for a colorful procession. 9:00ish-2:00pm. Sign up at Sailfest HQ to come aboard one of the boats for a donation.

Saturday, Feb. 11, 10 AM Kid´s Beach Day. Beach Party and Games Day at Playa Madera. 10:00am-1:00pm. Fun and games for all, including 100 invited school children. Shade, refreshments and food available.

Sunday, Feb 12, Wrap-up Beach Party, Awards, and Raffle Drawings at Playa La Madera, 4:00-6:00pm. Selection of food by local restaurants, great raffle prizes and fun for all. Food tickets are $100 pesos donation.

  Throughout this event, buy $10 peso raffle tickets for thousands of dollars in great prizes, all donated by local merchants to benefit children’s education. Drawings held during all major events.
